Braving the canyon with the Halls...

This was, by far, the most adventurous photo session I've ever done, and WHAT tough little troopers these cute kids were. This family's property on Rock Creek Canyon was beautiful and really a nice (a'hem) hike...in my flip flops. :) I enjoy a good adventure now and then, and am grateful we all made it out of the canyon without so much as a scrape. These guys are really fun, and oh so cute and photogenic, so it was a great time editing. Until next time, I'll update my health and life insurance policies.

giving in...

So, Whitney got a new shirt today for school and upon trying it on when we got home and realizing she really liked it, she immediately asked if I would take a picture of her in it. Well, since I knew I'd be planning her "I'm Eight..." photo shoot eventually, I gave in and we brought the dress and did them all at once. Of course lil' Miss Sis came along and it ended up being quite the girly outing for all of us. I'll post her baptism pics later, but for now - check out my cutie beauties...

The one of Abby really cracks me up. It's very indicative of her personality. She's actually REALLY UN-photogenic when she tries too hard, so I have to tell her about how she snores and her feet stink to get that... Whitney, on the other hand, could toss that head of hers all day long. :)

so cute Sam & Dallin...

Natalie and her boys came all the way from North Carolina just for pictures!! (or maybe it was to see her sister in Jerome...) Regardless, it was really fun to see her again (what's it been, 10 years?) and meet her SO FUNNY boys for the first time. Their brave Daddy is serving in the military and is currently overseas, so these were fun ones to share with him, for certain.

no kidding...

Seriously, I wasn't joking. I have some pretty cute relatives. Dev & Laura's kids are particularly photogenic, as you'll see here. We had great fun visiting with them in AZ, even if it WAS like 115°. Here are your glamour shots you sun-lovin' beauties...

Mid-summer's Night {rainy} Wedding

Last night I had the chance to shoot an adorable couple at their wedding here in Twin Falls. Most everything was moved indoors due to unseasonable August rain, but it turns out the cloud cover provided excellent filtered light for the outdoor shots. These two and their crew were really fun to work with, and I wish them well...
Congrats Vaughna & Casey!

so cute cousins...

In the last month, it's been my pleasure to photograph almost all my nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. While in Redlands for the sainted LFR, we managed to snap some impromptu pics on the Larson's property. L&J sure have some adorable kids. Two more weeks and another beauty will join their family!

HUNT-ing for locations...

Okay, Amy's kids are so photogenic. Even if we did get kicked out of that one factory place...I'm happy that we found an alternative because I think these pictures turned out pretty cute. With faces like these though, we could have gone pretty much anywhere.

Miss Mary & Co...

Seriously, that trip to AZ and California was just so wonderful. Every other minute (it seemed like) we were reconnecting with those we've missed all this time. I was super excited to see Mary's family in Prescott....another of my BFFs that I'm SO STOKED is moving about 10 hours closer (YAY!) in the next couple of weeks. She and Elise single-handedly got me addicted to Triathlons. I am forever indebted.

Her lil' family was so cooperative for this shoot, and their little princess is so adorable, I had a hard time restraining my trigger finger. See for yourself...

Good times with the Glausers...

My sister and her kids were here last week for a fun visit from Texas. We had a great time playing in the water with Grandma, eating Cafe Rio, shopping, sending the kids fishing with Doug, the works! We managed to squeeze in a few pictures, of course...

Their baby brother is scheduled for an October arrival also. What fun...ALL these babies coming to our family this year. I feel (somewhat, but not terribly) left out not producing any of them. Jenny's due in some two-ish weeks with the first of them and we're excited to find out who he/she is! Mare...I'll finish the rest of these someday, I promise.
